What do you know, that worked! I've successfully dumped, flashed and installed my CFW now and it all seems to have gone without a hitch! But PS3 has been stopped in time for a few years now, not like there are imrpovements and optmization for any website coding running in PS3 browser. Other apps have also long stopped being optmized for PS3. So yes, in PS3 is only useful for playing games. It's still decent for playing movies and music, but even so there are better means to do that.

Not enough cache space etc etc plus sites to go to on a videogame console's browser there will always be problems with screwed up java features yada yada.
