It doesn't seem to affect Chrome or Firefox. Infections usually cause browsers to open themelves when there is no obvious reason for it to be happening. Agree with CrimsonKid by taking no chances and reimage it. It doesn't matter that Chrome and Firefox are unaffected, the machine is still infected.
